WPIP Green Energy will build energy storage facilities for ADMAT and FAMILY-FARM companies

WPIP Green Energy, part of the WPIP Group, signed a contract for the construction of two energy storage facilities for companies from the ADMAT Group (ADMAT and FAMILY-FARM), in a consortium formula together with EZMA.

The scope of the investment will include delivery, assembly, configuration, and commissioning of an energy storage facility with a power of 1,000 kW and a capacity of 1,800 kWh in Goliszew for Admat Sp. z o. o and an energy storage facility with a capacity of 500 kW with a capacity of 1,000 kWh in Czerminek for the Fruit and Vegetable Producers Group “Family-Farm” Sp. z o. o. The implemented installations will allow investors to increase energy independence and better manage energy in their plants.

Energy storage facilities can act as an emergency power supply in the event of power outages, stabilize network operating parameters (including voltage and frequency), and enable better use of energy from photovoltaic installations by storing production surpluses. An additional benefit is the ability to reduce energy costs, including reducing the capacity fee during its effective hours and optimizing the ordered power.

Investment scope

The scope of implementation includes comprehensive preparation and implementation of the investment – from the design stage to system launch. The consortium will be responsible, among others, for: for the development of design documentation, obtaining the required administrative permits and conditions for connection to the power grid, preparation of the technical design with telemechanics, delivery and installation of energy storage facilities, performance of construction and assembly works, configuration of installation operating modes, as well as their energization and acceptance with the participation of the distribution system operator and the relevant administrative authorities.

ADMAT, operating since 1985, is a company with a long tradition in the production of high-quality food products.
