BALCO, which is a company of the Swedish group – Balco Group Holding AB, operates in Poland in the metal industry and is engaged in the production and installation of aluminum structures (windows, balconies, balustrades). The newly built factory mainly manufactures balconies for the European and Scandinavian markets.
The production facility we designed and built was made using the Astron steel structure. The facility was equipped with 2 overhead travailing cranes with a capacity of 0.5 tons each, as well as an innovative mobile industrial extraction fan-filtering system that reduces the negative phenomenon of oil mist during production processes, thus creating a friendly working environment. The building also has a state-of-the-art LRM600 steel membrane roof with a WiSeNe system that monitors roof deflection.
The facility also includes a 2-story office building of about 1,500 sq m, which is the company’s head office in Poland.
