A German distributor of photo/video, audio, multimedia, archiving and telecommunications accessories for which we designed and built a 4,000 sq m warehouse and a 3-story office building.
The two-bay hall is made with the ASTRON system steel structure As part of the implementation, WPIP also designed and implemented a shipping area organization and automation system with 20 picking stations and an internal transport system.
The expansion in 2023 included the Hama Polska complex, which is located in Robakowo (Poznań district, Kórnik municipality). WPIP Construction, the prime contractor and designer for the project, increased warehousing space by 4,500 square metres. It reached 9,000 square metres. The volume of the warehouse section of the cluster grew by more than 100 per cent owing to the taller new building, which now stands at 16 m.
The new facility was fitted with a sprinkler system. The hall also has a steel roof, suitable for the installation of a photovoltaic system. In addition, a 200sq m staff and technical section was developed, along with external infrastructure – a new entrance to the plot, inner roads and car parks, a pumping station, fire tanks and water holding tanks.
