A three-module hall on a brownfield. Completion of the project in Źródła
In Źródła near Wrocław, the construction of a warehouse hall with an area of 7.2 thousand sq m has been completed square metres. The owner, Hal-Mag, decided to reclaim a brownfield site where a clay mine once operated.
The facility was developed in Źródła, located west of Wrocław (Środa district, Miękinia municipality), by national road No. 94. It consists of a single-storey warehouse hall with staff and office facilities, divided into three modules – each with an area of 2,400 square metres. The owner, Hal-Mag, decided to put up the space for rent.

Our company was responsible for the design and prime contractor services. The project also included inner road infrastructure, including roads, manoeuvring areas and parking spaces, as well as fire water and holding tanks.
The work was carried out on a brownfield site following the owner’s decision to reclaim it. Previously, an open-cast clay mine had operated on the site. In addition, the plot was under the protection of the conservation officer as it was part of the Lutynia battlefield.
– The project is a model example of how to manage a brownfield site project – says Janusz Signetzki, CEO of WPIP Construction. –We appreciate the fact that, thanks to the owner, a plot once used for industrial activities will gain a new function.
– Thanks to the successful cooperation with the prime contractor, WPIP Construction, based on a mutual understanding of needs, we were able to quickly erect a modern commercial facility meeting high technical and environmental standards – says Tomasz Kroczak, a member of Hal-Mag’s Board. – We want all our projects to fit in as well as possible with the spatial arrangements of the places where they are built.
