
CEO of WPIP Construction joined the debate at the European Economic Congress
What is the condition of the construction industry in Poland? This was one of the topics discussed by Janusz Signetzki, CEO of WPIP Construction, at the panel “Construction – a time of challenges”, organised as part of the European Economic Congress in Katowice.
– Construction companies are agile organisations, skilfully adapting to market requirements. At WPIP Construction, we focus on a partner relations. After all, the project owner and the prime contractor are united by common goals: the facilities under construction are to be completed within the agreed timeframe, price and demonstrate expected quality–argued Janusz Signetzki.

And what does the future hold for the industry? According to the CEO of WPIP Construction, a testing time has arrived, bringing with it an expected accumulation of projects.
– In any company, people are the most important strength. The construction industry is interesting, well-paid and challenging. That is why we need to attract young people, the best talent. Because they will soon be the ones to decide its future – concluded Janusz Signetzki.
The panel discussion ‘Construction – a time of challenges’ took place on 8 May during the European Economic Congress. In addition to Janusz Signetzki, it was attended by Anna Glanowska-Szpor, manager working with the construction sector at ING Bank Śląski SA, Marita Szustak, president of the Economic Chamber of Road Transport and chairman of the board of Track Tec CONSTRUCTION, Andrzej Losor, member of the board of Górażdże Cement SA (Heidelberg Materials Polska group), Marcin Mochocki, member of the board, director of investments at PKP Polskie Linie Kolejowe SA and Jakub Nagraba, director of the general construction division at Budimex SA. The panel was chaired by Paweł Samborski, partner at Baker McKenzie.
