A new warehouse for Havi Logistics under construction at MLP Poznań following ground-breaking

The ground-breaking ceremony was held on 14 March. The new facility dedicated to Havi Logistics, a global company dedicated to supply chain innovation, optimisation and management for leading brands, will provide 16,000 square meters of modern space. More than 15,500 sqm will be used for warehousing purposes including a freezer and cold store. Another 680 sqm will be taken by modern office and staff spaces, planned over two floors.

The ground-breaking was attended by representatives of the prime contractor, the tenant and the project owner. MLP Group, which owns the park in Poznań, was represented by the President of the Management Board and CEO Radosław T. Krochta. WPIP Construction, acting as prime contractor, was represented at the ceremony by CEO Janusz Signetzki. The tenant was represented by Katarzyna Piątkowska, Managing Director of HAVI Logistics Sp. z o.o. Handover of the completed space is planned for early second half of 2024.

– This new project is for our long-standing tenant. We are very pleased to expand our existing cooperation. We subject all newly constructed facilities to the BREEAM certification process. At the same time, we ensure comfort of the users of the logistics park by implementing modern solutions to increase functionality and protect the environment. This is appreciated by the tenants who operate their business in our warehouse space for many years – says Radosław T. Krochta, President of the Management Board of MLP Group S.A.

– The new HAVI Distribution Centre in Poznań is an important step in the development of HAVI and our customers. The dedicated facility has been designed to provide efficient working conditions, which will have a positive impact on the quality of our services. The Centre’s location in Poznań will become a key component of HAVI Logistics’ supply chain, enabling optimised and efficient logistics processes. . It will not only be a warehouse, but a comprehensive, modern and, above all, sustainable space that will allow us to implement further projects in our sustainable development strategy – explains Katarzyna Piątkowska, managing director of HAVI Logistics in Poland.

MLP Group is one of the leaders in implementing the principles of sustainable development, setting the highest environmental standards in the logistics and industrial property industry. In line with its strategy, the facilities under construction at MLP Poznań will undergo BREEAM New Construction environmental certification at the level Excellent. The project will include the installation of photovoltaic panels, heat pumps and electric vehicle charging stations.

The MLP Poznań project is located in Koninko, near the S11 expressway connecting Poznań and Katowice, about 16 km from the centre of Poznań and 4 km from the A2 motorway. Ultimately, the project will cover nearly 90,000 square meters of warehousing and production space, developed on a 20-hectare site.
